Taking the B to work. Arriving at Columbus circle I notice that the platform is packed and my cart almost empty I await developments. And indeed a lady in a red coat has her eyes set on the position on the bench opposite me. She sees a man approaching and throws her Duane Reade bag forward. The men is twarted and holds back. The lady announces that next to her there's still space available. The men thanks her politely but keeps standing.
The next stop the lady in red get's off the train.
