Barnes & Nobels on Broadway has a long escator. So there I am listening to 'Ode an die Freude' (the final of Beethoven's 9th Symphony) which triggered my recollection of a car ride from Rotterdam to Utrecht where me and a friend were 'singing' that piece full out while listening on it on the CD-Player. I just have to tell him that I'm reliving that memory while in Barnes & Nobles on Broadway Avenue in New York. While listening to Beethoven and reliving the memory and typing the email on my iPhone I suddenly hear "Lift your feet". Which I automatically do right before I reach the top. Immediately followed by "Good boy". I look up and I see a young boy and his mother going down the escalator.
